Why you joined:

I was a school teacher before entering the fire department and I thought it might be safer to run into a burning building than to teach in the public school system.

Favorite thing about the job:

The bonds and relationships I have gained with my fellow firefighters!  The fire department is my second family.

Sports, Reading, and anything at the beach…

How do you keep fit:

Running, weight training and healthy eating. --(except at the station of course!)
